today is a sad one for kansas. her childhood cat, lubov, died today. it was a bit sudden but she passed away at home, peacefully and without pain. we never had the chance to meet but i'm told that we were very much alike. i don't mind living in her shadow. she was a feline rockstar. she has been buried on the hill behind kansas' parent's house, next to millie and tashi, her nearly lifelong canine companions.
i wish her endless patches of sunlight and a full dish of food.
not to be too dolly parton about it, but we will always love you.

My condolences to you and your family. It breaks my heart, but I know that she's happy in the big scratching post playground in the sky.
